Little is known but CBL shows similar effects as CBN
Another minor cannabinoid that’s getting a lot of attention lately is CBL. This phytocannabinoid is different than THC, CBD and CBG, since it forms when CBC or cannabichromene degrades. All cannabinoids start to change when they’re exposed to light and other environmental sources. Just like CBGA develops CBCA, as your flowers ripen, the CBCA slowly changes to CBL.
While little is known about Cannabicyclol, cannabinoid researchers realize it doesn’t produce a psychoactive response and won’t get you “high’’. Additionally, plants produce much less of CBL than any other known cannabinoid, including CBG. It has a similar chemical structure to the other phytocannabinoids, which means it most likely has many of the same benefits, including pain and inflammation reduction, assistance with sleep and help with relieving anxiety and stress.
